Pickens County, South Carolina – Authorities have identified the victims involved in a possible murder-suicide incident that unfolded in Pickens County. The tragic event occurred late on Tuesday around 9:30 p.m., prompting a distressed 911 call from a residence on Edens Road.
Deputies responding to the call were met with an abrupt disconnection but managed to gather an address. Upon arriving at the scene, they were startled by a single gunshot resonating from within the house. Upon entry, law enforcement found a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds.
The woman, identified as Lisa Young, aged 60, was discovered deceased, displaying visible signs of torso trauma. Brian Davis, 62, was found alive but succumbed to his injuries before receiving medical assistance. A firearm was recovered near the man, as confirmed by police reports.
