Lincoln, Nebraska – The unexplained disappearance of Tyler Goodrich, a 35-year-old resident of Lincoln, Nebraska, has ignited a widespread online search effort as his family and friends desperately seek answers. Goodrich, who went missing on November 3, 2023, has spurred his loved ones to share information about his mysterious absence across various social media platforms, appealing for public assistance in locating him.
Goodrich’s concerned mother took to Facebook to share the distressing news, expressing her worry and love for her son. According to her, the Lincoln Police Department (LPD) is actively involved in the case, and the last known location of Goodrich’s phone was detected near W Van Dorn and Hwy 77 in Lincoln, close to a running trail.
In her plea, Goodrich’s mother stated, “My son, Tyler Goodrich, has gone missing. He left his home on foot on 11-3-23. LPD is involved. His phone was pinged at 10th and Van Dorn late Friday night. If anyone knows anything, please reach out. I am extremely worried. I love you, son.”
The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office is also aware of the situation and is expected to provide updates as the investigation progresses.

Goodrich was last seen in Lincoln, NE, near W Van Dorn and Hwy 77, close to a running trail, on a Friday evening around 7:45 p.m. It is believed he left his home for a run, and his phone activity was traced to Southwest 10th and West Van Dorn streets. Despite efforts, his phone has not been located.
A dedicated Facebook group has been established to facilitate the search for Goodrich. A former colleague described him as a “wonderful, caring man” and urged others to be vigilant in their search for him.
Described as 6-foot-2 and weighing 180 pounds, Goodrich was last seen wearing grey trousers, a shirt, and a Garmin watch. Images of him have been circulated on social media to aid in his identification. While further details about his personal and professional life remain undisclosed, his Facebook account contains several pictures of him with his loved ones.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Goodrich’s whereabouts to contact the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office at 402-441-6500. The community remains hopeful and steadfast in their efforts to bring him back home safely.
