Lilie James obituary: Water polo coach found murdered at St Andrew’s Cathedral School

Montgomery County, Pennsylvania – A devastating accident occurred in Montgomery County, resulting in the tragic loss of two lives. The victims have been identified as 32-year-old Francis Kiefer, a resident of Barto, Pennsylvania, and 64-year-old Raymond Hookway from Phoenixville. The accident, involving two pickup trucks, took place shortly before 6 a.m. on Route 100 in Douglass Township.

According to reports, Francis Kiefer was driving a southbound black Nissan Frontier pickup truck when he collided with a deer. The impact caused Kiefer’s vehicle to veer into the northbound lanes, leading to a head-on collision with another black Nissan Frontier pickup truck driven by Raymond Hookway.

The collision was fatal for both individuals. Raymond Hookway was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, while Francis Kiefer succumbed to his injuries on the way to Pottstown Memorial Hospital. The loss of these lives highlights the dangers associated with animal-related accidents, especially during the autumn season.

Pennsylvania is among the states with a high number of animal-related collisions, particularly during the fall months. These incidents tend to increase in October and peak in mid-November, coinciding with the heightened activity of deer. Jana L. Tidwell, the manager of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Mid-Atlantic, emphasized the need for motorists to exercise caution, especially during dawn and dusk when deer are most active. She stated, “As the deer population grows and urbanization spreads into formerly rural areas, motorists need to be even more cautious and alert behind the wheel.”

❤️SHE MATTERS: LILIE JAMES!❤️

This is 22-year-old sports coach Lilie James.

Yesterday, Lilie was murdered at her workplace – a school – in Sydney’s CBD.

Today, cops are hunting for a male colleague whom they suspect ended her life.

Lilie is the 55th Australian woman killed this year.

At the time of writing, the alleged perpetrator had not been apprehended and there is a suggestion he may have killed himself.

In the wake of Lilie’s death, police stressed there was no suggestion of a ‘relationship’ between them despite them going on some dates.

But here’s the rub. Lilie, like almost every other woman killed this year, knew her perpetrator.

Of the 55 women lost to violence in 2023, only four did not know their alleged killers. The other victims had some sort of prior connection to the accused – be it intimate or familial relationship, a friendship, workplace connection, a neighbour, housemate or other link.

There are two clear trends in femicides across our county – the gender of the accused killers and ‘the known to each other’ commonality.

In other words, women are almost always murdered by someone they know and the offender is almost always a male.

Today, we must mourn the loss of this young vibrant woman to violence and think of her family, her friends, her colleagues and the young people whose lives Lilie touched during her career in education and sport.

RIP LILIE JAMES! ❤️

I document ALL unlawful deaths of women and children, regardless of perpetrator gender or relationship between the person killed and the accused. This means not every death is due to domestic and family violence. Australians are also killed by strangers, friends, colleagues, neighbours and other people known to them.

The communities of Barto and Phoenixville, along with the wider Montgomery County area, are left in mourning due to this tragic accident. At this time, an obituary for Francis Kiefer and Raymond Hookway is not available, but their untimely deaths serve as a stark reminder of the importance of vigilance on the roads, particularly in areas prone to wildlife-related accidents. Montgomery County, the third-most populous county in Pennsylvania, is left grieving the loss of these two lives, underscoring the need for continued awareness and caution among motorists in the region.
