McCracken was scheduled to face Tony Silva in a lightweight bout in the main event at the Anthony Pettis FC 8 event on October 20. However, his sources of income, which include coaching at a Liverpool-based MMA gym and earnings from fighting, will be on hold as he focuses on his recovery. He has a one-year-old child at home and a family to support.
A GoFundMe campaign has been initiated by someone in McCracken’s inner circle to assist the fighter and his family during this challenging time. The campaign aims to provide financial support for Liam’s full-time care as he works towards recovery.
