Laurence O’Fuarain is believed to have been born in Ireland, although nothing is known about his early days. The actor attended Tallaght Institute of Technology in Dublin, Ireland. He is said to have also shot a number of short films around this time. He then left university to pursue a career in acting and enrolled at Bow Street Academy in Dublin. Laurence O’Fuarain has previously featured in a few short films, including A Breath and VVoid. He also played Simpson in an episode of HBO’s Game of Thrones.
The actor appeared in the fifth season of Vikings, a historical television show, playing the character Hakon. Laurence O’Fuarain’s other notable performances include Viking Destiny, Black ’47, Who We Love, Rebellion, and Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope, among others.

The teaser for The Witcher: Blood Origin shows off the series’ breathtaking aesthetic as well as some of the game’s breathtaking action scenes. The show doesn’t provide key narrative events, but it does establish a tone, seemingly significantly different from The Witcher.
Geralt of Rivia, played by Henry Cavill, is the protagonist of The Witcher. According to Rotten Tomatoes, here’s the show’s synopsis:
“The wizard Geralt, a mutant monster hunter, tries to find his place in a world where humans are often more evil than creatures.”
Anya Chalotra, Joey Batey and Freya Allan star in the show, with many others playing important supporting roles. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, the famous screenwriter, is directing. The Witcher prequel is now available to watch on Netflix.
