Kit Harington, a British actor, and his wife, Rose Leslie, revealed that they are expecting their second child together. During an appearance on The Jimmy Falon Show on February 3, the 36-year-old celebrity announced that his child was “going to have the shock of his life”.
He declared:
“Which means he’s going to have a brother.”
Harington and Leslie have a 2-year-old son. Kit Harington then added to his comments by mentioning how his mentality changed as the couple were expecting their first child.
He declared:
“I’m scared to death. For nine months, you feel like you’re walking on clouds and dancing in fields of chrysanthemums – at least so is the guy. But the reality check this time is considerably shorter.” You quickly become realistic.”

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie were friends long before they co-starred on HBO’s Game of Thrones. In October 2011, they began filming the second season of the show, in which he played Jon Snow and she played Ygritte.
In an interview with People Magazine, Rose said:
“We knew each other before we started working on Game of Thrones. Working opposite him has always been a pleasure, and it’s a boon we’ve collaborated with in real life because it makes our roles all the more convincing.”
According to Harington, the pair fell in love while filming season two of Game of Thrones in Iceland.
He say, “
“We spent three weeks in Iceland shooting season two. Because of the beautiful scenery, the Northern Lights are inspiring and I fell in love with that place. It’s super simple to fall in love if you’re already attracted to someone and they show your love on the show.”
When they were spotted dining together in London in August 2012, the couple confirmed their relationship. They briefly broke up a year later but reconnected within three months of the breakup.
A source informed Us Magazine at the time:
“It’s unofficial now, and they’re having a good time. They haven’t lived together or done anything else yet.”
Kit Harington and Rose Leslie made their red carpet debut at the Olivier Awards in April 2016, after keeping their romance secret for several years. After living together for almost a year, the couple confirmed their engagement in September 2017. They were married in June 2018 at Kirkton of Rayne Church in Scotland, with Game of Thrones stars Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner, Maisie Williams and Emilia Clarke. After announcing their pregnancy last September, the couple became parents to a baby boy in February 2021.
