The untimely passing of Kimberly Honey on December 20th, 2023, has left family and friends grieving, turning to social media to share their heartfelt tributes to a cherished daughter and mother who made an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to know her.
Kimberly, known affectionately as Kim, was a Tuscumbia resident with a vibrant personality full of adventure. She was a devoted mother and daughter, with resilience, generosity, and unshakable loyalty to her family defining the path of her life. Her days were dedicated to creating a home filled with love, laughter, and joy for her children, Christian Williams (Haley) and Victoria Belle Long (Livingston).
Kim’s influence extended beyond her immediate family, reaching into the fabric of her community. Known for her kindness and compassion, she always extended a helping hand to those in need, forming connections that blossomed into a network of relationships.
In Tuscumbia, Kim was an active member of the First Methodist Church, where she found solace and community. Her adventurous spirit and genuine care for others marked her presence in the church and beyond.
Survived by her parents, David and Sandra Honey; brother, Josh Honey (Cindy); sister, Cheri Grimmitt (Ged); nieces and nephews, Caleb and Abby Honey, and Noah and Lucy Grimmitt; special friend, Sean Presley, and his son, Sawyer Presley; and beloved pets, Ollie and Cali, Kim leaves behind a legacy of love and connection.
Visitation to celebrate Kimberly’s life will be held on Saturday, December 23, from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at First Methodist Church of Tuscumbia. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Dr. Rudy Guess, will follow immediately, with interment at Shoals Memorial Garden.
As family and friends gather to bid farewell, Kimberly Honey will be remembered not only for the joy she brought into the lives of her loved ones but also for the compassionate and resilient spirit that touched the hearts of all who knew her.
