“As I type this tonight my heart is broken. I got terrible news Friday afternoon when I learned that my dear friend Kimberly Bliley passed away this past week, just a few weeks after her 40th birthday. Kimberly and I met at Midlothian Middle when I came back to teach there in 2007. We became fast friends and soon she was my work bestie. We shared so many fun times together and definitely had a lot interesting adventures in and out of school. Even though I’ve lost some of our pictures when I changed phones, I’m so thankful I still have pictures from our Chick fil a grand opening, one of our Monument Avenue 10ks that we did and a day we shared at the beach. I loved seeing you date and fall in love with Craig and i loved being there on your special day. As each of your sons were born, it was wonderful seeing your family expand and seeing the happiness they brought you. Kimberly was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend and an incredible teacher to so many students over the years. I’m so glad God chose to put her in my life as my good friend and my life is more rich as a result of that. Please pray for this sweet family as they have to adjust to a new reality now.”
