Keegan-Michael Key, an American actor, comedian, producer, and screenwriter. He was born in the United States on March 22, 1971. He began his acting career in the 1990s by starring in several films and television shows.
He rose to fame for his role in the sketch comedy series Key & Peele (2012–2015), for which he was nominated for and won a Primetime Emmy Award in 2016.
Additionally, Keegan-Michael Key has guest-starred in several films, including Toy Story 4 and Tomorrowland (2015). (2019). He has been in the cast of musical The Lion Guard (2019–present) since its inception.

Keegan-Michael Key was born in Southfield, Michigan on March 22, 1971 in the United States. He was a black man named Leroy McDuffie with a woman of Polish and Flemish descent named Carrie Herr. He was named after his father.
He was adopted as a child by a Detroit couple named Michael Key and Patricia Walsh, both of whom worked in social services. They are all social workers. His adoptive parents, Patricia Walsh and Michael Key, are of the same race as his biological parents, a black man and a white woman. He has two half brothers; one of them, Dwayne McDuffie, is a famous cartoonist. Keegan-Michael Key himself is an actor and comedian. He didn’t know about his half-siblings until after their death, long after they had passed away.

In 2004, when the show was almost halfway through its ninth season, Keegan-Michael Key became a cast member of Mad TV. Both he and Jordan Peele competed against each other, but in the end, they were chosen as the winners because they had great funny chemistry. He earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in theater from Pennsylvania State University in 1996. While attending Detroit Mercy University, he is a member of Phi Kappa Theta Brotherhood.
