“It was so easy to see Fr. Don Cullen, no matter how much time had passed since your last visit. He always remembered your name. Even if he had no other gift, his memory was amazing. But we all know his gifts didn’t stop there. His love of his faith and family. His acceptance of all who came to him. His gift of gab. His gift of his homilies to the point that all could relate. All felt that he was speaking to you.

“He made you feel that Jesus was speaking to you. Well Jesus is speaking to Fr. Don now, and telling him he has competed well, he has finished the race.

“He has done his job on earth. As Fr. Don embraced all when he saw you for the first time or for the hundredths time, Jesus and the Virgin Mary are now embracing him. If you have a favorite picture of Fr. Don we would love if you would share it with us. Tag us in your post, or email them to [email protected].”
