Kamal Gill’s educational journey took him through prestigious institutions, including I.H.G – General Manager Academy, Emory University – Goizueta Business School, and the Florida Atlantic University College of Business, where he studied Hospitality & Tourism Management. His professional career showcased his dedication and passion for the hospitality industry. He served as a kitchen Executive / Sous Chef and management Trainee at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts, followed by positions as General Manager at Sno Shack Holdings – Gourmet Kitchens and Director of Food and Beverage at Crowne Plaza Richmond.
Kamal Gill’s impact on the local hospitality scene extended to his roles as Assistant General Manager and Director of Food and Beverage at Holiday Inn Dulles / Executive Conference & Training Center – B.F.Saul Hotel Division, as well as Area Director of Food and Beverage in Sterling, Virginia. He further distinguished himself as a Senior Vice President at Spice Hospitality / Luxor in Loudoun County and as Unit Director of Operations at Gate Gourmet in Dulles, Virginia. Kamal’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to serve as the Chief Operating Officer at VERTAAG® and, most notably, as the Chief Executive Officer at The Zone – Family Entertainment Center / Sports Bar & Restaurant in Ashburn, Virginia.
Beyond his professional success, Kamal Gill was a philanthropist at heart. He made a lasting impact on the region through his business and charity work. His dedication to organizations like the Loudoun Literacy Council and Touching Heart showcased his commitment to community service.
