Kallie Fagg, Southeastern Middle School student, dies of suicide in Walnut Cove, NC

The community of Stokes County, North Carolina, is grappling with the tragic loss of 13-year-old Kallie Fagg, who passed away on Wednesday afternoon, August 30, 2023, in her home. Kallie Reid Fagg was born on December 1, 2009, in Forsyth County to her parents, James “Jimmy” Fagg and Allison Adey. She was an eighth-grade student at Southeastern Stokes Middle School and was truly remarkable in every way. Kallie was known for her kind-hearted nature and her willingness to help others. She had a radiant smile that could brighten anyone’s day. In addition to her warm personality, Kallie was a gifted artist, and her talents led her to win 3rd place in the National VFW Heritage Contest for one of her artworks.

Kallie was a vibrant young girl who embraced various activities with enthusiasm. She was involved in dance, taekwondo, soccer, gymnastics, cheerleading, and basketball. Additionally, she had a passion for creating and playing video games, and she was on the verge of completing her first game. Kallie was also fond of anime and cherished her time spent with friends and her beloved cats.

The Stokes County community has been deeply affected by Kallie’s passing, particularly the Southeastern Stokes Middle School, where she was a student.
