As Justin Roiland faced allegations of domestic abuse and grooming, a video of co-creators Rick and Morty confessing to being attracted to young people surfaced online. He was on a podcast broadcast and discussed teen bodies, which sparked outrage online. Justin Roiland co-hosted The Grandma’s Virginity Podcast with Ryan Ridley and Jackie Buscarino in 2011. Following Roiland’s disturbing statements, the show’s 37th episode went viral on social media. Several times throughout the podcast, he has had to justify himself by saying that he is not ap *dophile. This follows his comment on the show:
“Look, I would say, look, a 14 year old girl looks like she is 18 and likes big ties… of course I’m attracted to that!” These females… they are complete and are saying things like, “I want you to fuck me.”
He went on to say that it is not surprising that individuals are attracted to complete minors. According to Rolland:
“Are we crazy as a race? When we were kings… a hundred years ago, 13-year-old girls, petite, female-like bodies, got married and had children… But I’m not ap*dophile.”
In the background, a woman’s voice can be heard openly, “I’m ap*dophile.” As the broadcast continued, Roiland’s co-host wondered if he’d made him edit the piece. On the other hand, co-creators Rick and Morty say he’s fine with his claims in the episode because he’ll “never break the law” and be a “law-abiding citizen.” He said, “p*dophilia is simply horrible.”

Justin Roiland has been charged with childcare.
When Roiland’s domestic violence allegations became public, an unnamed woman came forward and said that Roiland wanted her to drop out of school and engage in “sex slavery” when she was 16. He also allegedly called her a “bully” and used obscene words like “b***h” and “f****t” against her.
Janna Waters, another victim, said Roiland called her “extremely hot” when she was just 16 years old. He also had a “predator scout” named Christy who would choose “exceptional looking young girls” for him, she alleged. In addition to his work in the Emmy Award-winning comedy, he has also worked on the Hulu animated shows Koala Man and Solar Opposites. Hulu and 20th TV Animation announced on Wednesday that they have “terminated our relationship with Justin Roiland” and that they will continue with their series independently of him. On Tuesday, Adult Swim, a division of Cartoon Network, announced that Roiland’s voice in Rick and Morty would be replaced. They stated:
“Adult Swim has ended his relationship with Justin Roiland.” Rick and Morty will be back. Season 7’s excellent and dedicated staff are working hard.”
In May 2020, Roiland was charged with two counts of domestic battery. According to the police complaint, an event occurred around January 19 of the same year that left the unnamed woman “in a terrible state”. Roiland’s attorney has categorically denied the claims. If proven guilty, Roland could face up to seven years in prison.
