Joseph Stango of Denville, NJ, passes away at the age of 26: Obituary

Denville, NJ – In a heartbreaking moment for the community of Rockaway, New Jersey, and beyond, Joseph Stango, a cherished member of the community, passed away on September 24, 2023, at the tender age of 26. The news of his passing was shared by a close friend through a heartfelt social media post, reflecting the deep bond and friendship they shared.

Joseph Francesco Stango was born on August 25, 1997, in Denville, New Jersey, and spent the majority of his life in Rockaway Township. In 2019, he became a resident of Ventnor City, where he became an integral part of the community. Joseph’s impact on the world was substantial, marked by his remarkable kindness and deep concern for the well-being of others.

Inside and out, Joe was a beautiful soul who radiated God’s love and kindness. He enjoyed playing pick-up basketball, watching UFC matches, and engaging in various sports, particularly rooting for his beloved NY Giants. Comedies, movies, and spending time with dogs brought him joy. Known for his laughter and ever-present smile, Joe held various jobs, showcasing an exceptional work ethic regardless of the task.

Joseph Stango was dearly loved by his parents, Joseph G. and Donna M. Stango, and treasured by his devoted siblings, Michael and Alyssa Stango. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends.

Visitation to honor Joseph’s memory will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on October 2, 2023, at 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:00 AM on October 3, 2023, at 15 Myers Avenue, Denville, NJ, followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
