Summer Duncan, Jon Pardi’s wife, has been a hairdresser for over a decade and is from Northern California. According to Country Thang Daily, in the early 2010s, she ran a salon and spa in California, which is now defunct. According to reports, Summer met Pardi via a common acquaintance, who was the former’s customer and a friend of Jon’s mother. The two were then put up on a date, which turned into a romance. Summer, during an interview, claimed that the first five minutes of the date had an influence on her, and she immediately contacted her mother to convey her story. Jon Pardi, on the other hand, eventually said that he fell in love at first sight.
In an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the Dirt On My Boots singer elaborated on his first date, saying:
“She was the first female I’d dated who made me feel like she had my back and that we were really a team. Summer is wonderfully gorgeous on the outside, but her heart and compassion are unrivaled. We have the greatest fun together in every scenario, and we continuously laugh.”
After dating for almost three years, the Heartache Medicine singer proposed to his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Summer Duncan, on October 2, 2019. They will marry on November 21, 2020, in a private ceremony at Tennessee’s Saddle Woods property. Summer did, however, subsequently explain that their wedding did not happen as planned owing to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Summer also participated in Pardi Time, an eight-episode digital-variety series based on the Write You a Song vocalist, on CMT. She seldom shares glimpses of her life on social media, but shortly after Presley Fawn Pardi was born, she posted a snapshot of her “bedside pal” on Instagram. As previously stated, Summer and Jon Pardi announced their pregnancy in September through PEOPLE Magazine, stating that they were thrilled to become a “Pardi of three.”
