Jeremiah Green, founding member of rock band Modest Mouse, has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Carol Namatame, the drummer’s mother, revealed her son’s condition in a recent Facebook post. This. However, it is not clear in the text what disease the artist suffered from.

Additionally, Seattle radio celebrity DJ Marco Collins revealed Green’s diagnosis and announced that Mouse would no longer be on tour. In a Facebook post, he said:
“I just heard that my best friend Jeremiah Green (Humble Mouse) has left the band tour because he is currently undergoing chemotherapy to beat Stage 4 Cancer. Jeremiah Green and singer Isaac Brock co-founded Modest Mouse.
Jeremiah Green, along with singer Isaac Brock and bassist Eric Judy, was a founding member of Modest Mouse in 1993. When he suffered from mental health issues, the artist briefly left the band. in 2003. At the suggestion of his bandmate and leader, Isaac Brock, he was at the time admitted to a mental hospital for six hours. Green spoke to NME last year about the release of their album, The Golden Casket. The artist, who also had a difficult upbringing, told the publication:
“What really saved me was that Isaac always cared about me… Isaac was one of the few people who was aware of my plight.”
