Jenny Milkowski’s career
Jenny rose to fame as a segment presenter, social media influencer, and weather and traffic radio host. She has provided reporting and hosted a number of programs on topics such as food, real estate, social media, technology and lifestyle. After graduating, Jenny worked as a television reporter for the Rockfleet network before moving on to work for outlets including WGN-TV and DevHour.TV.
She created a humorous blog entry about her love and relationship with ChicagoNow, part of the Chicago Tribune Media Group, which had over 1.43 million views in a month. She also spent two years with the Chicago Tribune Media Group. In addition to her role as a reporter and journalist, Jenny worked as a producer for CLTV and WGN Channel 9 from November 2007 to September 2012 before moving on to work as a producer and screenwriter for CBS Channel 2.
For many popular radio stations in Chicago, including WLIT, Kiss FM, WGCI and WVAZ, Jenny served as a traffic reporter. She co-founded MUU Media LLC, a Chicago-based media company focused on archival and video requirements, in 2011. Regarding her career, she had her breakthrough in 2012 when joined CBC Corporation as a journalist and television producer.
For her writing and producing work on CBC from 2012 to 2015, as well as her work as a traffic reporter at Total Traffic Network, Jenny has received multiple Emmy Award nominations. In 2013, she became a member of Total Traffic & Weather Network. 2015 saw Jenny win an Emmy. She is their online traffic reporter, as well as author and news producer for other stations.
For about three years, Jenny acted as the main morning traffic host of Fox 32 and substituted for various “Good Day Chicago” shows, such as visits to local eateries, exhibitions arts and charity events. Despite all her efforts, Jenny was let go by Fox 32 because they wanted a more serious traffic reporter. Jenny has no grudge against the Fox 32 staff, despite the fact that she was very disappointed when she left her position and missed the opportunity to say goodbye to viewers.
Through her social media channels, she independently released the following statement: “The thing that saddens me the most is that I wasn’t able to say goodbye to the people who matter most…the viewers.” It makes me very sad.

While it is heartbreaking for me to write this, I know big things are ahead and I will continue to entertain and inform people on various media platforms. Along with celebrity reporters Tamron Hall, David Novarro and Maurice DuBois, Jenny served as a traffic curator for WFLD-TV in Chicago and as a traffic reporter for major radio stations.
She co-hosted the radio show “Jenny Milk and Jay,” with Jay Styles for an afternoon drive.
