The Idaho State Police have released a grim account of the incident, attributing the collision to a Tesla traveling eastbound on Highway 33, which inexplicably crossed the centerline. The Tesla, driven by Jennifer Blaine, collided head-on with a Kenworth commercial vehicle operated by a 44-year-old man from Rexburg. The condition of the Kenworth driver remains uncertain.
