Unit 2 – Emily K. Morton, 21-year old female from Nixa, MO – Deceased. PASSENGER: Unit 2 – Jayda N. Fulkerson, 21-year-old female from Marine, IL – Deceased”.
“PRELIMINARY: The preliminary investigation indicates the following: Unit 1 was traveling southbound on IL Route 4 just north of Old State Route 4 in Madison County. Unit 2 was traveling northbound at the same location. For unknown reasons, Unit 1 crossed the center line causing a head on collision with Unit 2. All occupants were pronounced deceased on scene. No further information is available at this time. All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. ###”
