Hickory, NC – The community of Hickory, North Carolina, is grieving the loss of Jared Turpin, who tragically passed away in a motor vehicle accident in Catawba County. Turpin, an alumnus of Saint Stephen’s High School and Catawba Valley Community College, was a cherished member of the community, known for his caring nature and willingness to help others.

“Such a sad thing to see people drunk drive. Everyone does it but it’s not cool to go 100 nor drive drunk. Lost a great friend last night who was suppose to be very successful in life. Such a caring person and would do anything for anyone. Glad I got to catch up with you when I was In town for the reunion brother. you stole my yugio card the first time we met back in 4th grade and always reminded me that you never stole in life again after I had to beat your ass. We’ve had many great nights and talks and I pray your up there in heaven kicking it back brother .Such a sad thing man RIP To a brotherJared Turpinlove you brother”
