Jamie Lopez suffered from depression at one point because of constantly questioning her choices. Her salon was featured on We TV’s Super Sized Salon, chronicling her weight loss journey. Previously, she spoke to Yahoo Beauty about her weight loss journey, saying that she is a victim of prejudice and how she wants to use her beauty platform to support women. “I am extremely angry at being mistreated for my size and not in a position to be attractive. When a woman leaves my salon after being treated, I want her to feel attractive, confident and attractive.”
