The “Pursuit of Happiness” recording artist was beaming as he posed in front of a birthday cake with candles, wearing a hoodie and a red and blue varsity jacket from his apparel company, Members of the Rage [MOTR].
Cudi traveled to Paris Fashion Week earlier this month, when he unveiled his MOTR line. The collection includes a number of frayed polo shirts, spacious pants, cosmic designs, and color-blocked coats and features a vibrant color palette. The brand was created with a “90s grunge with the soul of hip hop and elements from a distant future,” according to the apparel line’s Instagram.
He described the goal of MOTR to Vogue as “I want people to feel like they’re walking on stage when they’re wearing this brand.”
The release comes soon after the multidimensional artist garnered compliments from Jacob Latimore and Tosin Cole, his House Party co-stars. For his work on the project, he received the Groundbreaker Award in December at the fifth annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television award ceremony in Los Angeles.
However, Cudi’s success in the movies may not be good news for his music fans. In a September interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Cudi implied that the Intergalactic album will be his final.

Jaden also said he “loves everything” the Ohio rapper puts out, but he added, “I think the ‘Leader of the Delinquents,’ that’s one of my favorite Cudi songs that has been released in a long, long time.”
