The mysterious disappearance of Tyler Goodrich has taken a legal turn as Lancaster County deputies disclosed that an argument between Goodrich and his husband, Marshall Vogel, on Friday night, led them to the couple’s Lincoln home. However, upon arrival, Goodrich was not present, and no criminal activity was identified at that time.
Despite initial cooperation, deputies revealed that Goodrich’s husband, Marshall Vogel, is no longer providing information to the sheriff’s office. The nature of Vogel’s involvement in the case remains uncertain, as investigators did not explicitly label him as a suspect.
In response to the claim of non-cooperation, Vogel’s defense attorney, Sanford Pollack, refuted the assertion, stating that it is absolutely false that Mr. Vogel and his family are not cooperating with the investigation. Pollack explained that Vogel sought legal representation after law enforcement conducted a third search of the property.
On Monday, Pollack sent a letter to the Lancaster County Sheriff, stating that any further communication with Vogel must go through him. Pollack clarified that he had not been contacted by law enforcement.
Lancaster County Chief Deputy Ben Houchin acknowledged Pollack’s letter, indicating that it instructed them not to interview Vogel further, as Pollack had advised Vogel not to make additional statements. Houchin defended the ongoing police efforts, expressing the belief that Vogel would want the sheriff’s office to exert maximum effort in the search.
Deputies executed a search warrant on Monday at the property, and authorities are set to search the surrounding area on Tuesday, the last known location of Goodrich and his phone. The case remains open, with deputies stating that all possibilities are being considered.
Tyler Goodrich, described as 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds, was last seen wearing all gray shorts, a sweatshirt, and running shoes. As friends and family intensify their search efforts, the disappearance of Tyler Goodrich continues to be a perplexing and evolving investigation.
