The journey was not without its financial burdens, as the family faced the stress of switching insurance providers, incurring a monthly cost of $870, excluding additional expenses associated with Jenny’s treatment and care. Jenny underwent an arduous treatment regimen, including eight rounds of chemotherapy and thirty sessions of chest/lung radiation, completing her first phase of treatment in June 2021.
