Gabby Windey, a former “Bachelorette,” says she has a girlfriend.
Windey, who co-starred in Season 19 of the program last year, disclosed she is dating female comedian and writer Robby Hoffman in a social media update on Wednesday. Three months have passed since Windey and Hoffman started dating. When Windey made her declaration, Hoffman was already out in the open.
“Told you I’m a girls girl!!” was the caption on a series of images the 32-year-old reality star posted to Instagram with her new love.
In the several images, Windey and Hoffman can be seen cuddling and taking advantage of their sunny getaway. The last image shows Windey holding a drink and a crimson rose in front of a rainbow-colored American flag with stars in the shape of a heart. According to Windey’s Instagram story, dating Hoffman has been “truly, really the best experience over these last three months.”
Wednesday also saw Windey describe her romance on The View. She claimed that she has been making an effort to “live my truth” outside of The Bachelor franchise.
“I’ve been seeing someone for a couple of months, but I’ve been keeping it a little more private because it is a bigger story and a bigger conversation,” Windey said before starting the chat. I am dating a female.
Windey applauded alongside the viewers of The View. She jokingly said she didn’t believe anyone, not even herself, anticipated this news. When it came to her desire to women, Windey said it was like a “whisper in me that just got louder and louder.”
She explained, “When this happens, there’s obviously some shame surrounding it, so I think I had to kind of navigate through the shame.” “I always want to just do me, do what I want, and figure it out later.”
Windey claimed that she went to The View in order to come out on her own terms.

The non-profit LGBTQ2 advocacy group GLAAD released a message congratulating Windey on coming out from vice president of Communications and talent Anthony Allen Ramos.

Windey is one of today’s most prominent reality stars from The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. Erich Schwer, whom Windey selected as the winner at the conclusion of her season of The Bachelorette, was the subject of an earlier engagement. The couple separated in November.
