Educational background:
The first thing that you may want to consider when choosing your niche is your educational background. We’ve spent at least three years in college, mastering a subject for a degree. It is something that has taken root in us. This is also probably the easiest way to find your niche as you will also spend enough time choosing your specialty. So if this is something that interests you, start writing about it to find out if it’s your niche.
Your passions and interests:
We all have something we are passionate about outside of our field of study. This is the next place you should consider if writing about your field of study doesn’t excite you. You can write well about topics that interest you. And if you find that in your passion, it’s definitely win-win. You also have to understand the type of writing you want to do. There are blogs, social media posts, news, etc.
Check your resume:
Reviewing your resume will help you narrow down your options as you can specifically look at places where you have experience. Each job or internship on your resume is the starting point for finding your niche. We are sure that there will be some internships that you will do in your student life that you will absolutely enjoy. Pick up those pieces and write about those experiences. You never know what the end result might look like!

Sure, your niche is what you love to write about, but another factor that you have to keep in mind is what your audience wants to read. You don’t want to be a content writer whose work doesn’t appeal to an audience. While you need to enjoy your niche, your audience needs to too. So find something that works for both of you and invest your time in it. That’s when businesses will also want to hire you for your work.
Request feedback:
