Create Yahoo Account With Phone Number
- Go to the Yahoo.com link and click on the ‘Sign In’ option in the top right corner.
- You will be taken to the login page, click on the ‘create account’ option to create an account.
- Now enter all your personal details for which you want to create an account, when done hit ‘Continue’.
- On the next page you will be asked to verify your phone number, click ‘Text me verification code’ to continue.
- Then you have to enter the verification code that you received on your phone number.
- Once verified, you will automatically be taken to the next page showing the Congratulations message, press ‘Continue’ to start using your new Yahoo account.
- Click on your profile name provided in the upper right corner.
- Click the ‘Account Info’ option from the drop-down menu.
- Here you will be able to see all the details about your new Yahoo account.

Create a Yahoo account without a phone number
- Open the browser on your device and go to the official Yahoo link i.e. yahoo.com and In the top right corner there will be a ‘Sign in’ option click on it.
- Next, you will be directed to the ‘Sign In’ page, click on the ‘Create Account’ option.
- Enter your personal information on the next page, but since you didn’t use your phone number to create the account, click on the ‘I want to use my current email address’ option. This step is very important when you want to create a Yahoo account without a phone number.
- Fill in your first name, last name, email address, password, date of birth and click ‘Continue’.
- A notification will be sent to your email address with a code in it.
- Open a new tab and sign in to the email address where you received the verification code.
- Open the email you received from Yahoo.
- Now copy the code shown in the email.
- Paste the code in the space provided.
- If the account is successfully verified, you will see a congratulatory message, press ‘Continue’ to continue.

- Enter the name you want to display on outgoing messages and then press ‘Next’.
Set up a Yahoo account on an iOS device
Yahoo mail settings for iOS devices can be created in two ways:
Using auto setup
- Go to the settings app on your iOS device.
- Select the ‘Accounts and Passwords’ option and then press ‘Add Account’.
- Tap ‘Yahoo’, enter your email address and password and then tap ‘Sign in’.
- When finished, press ‘Save’.
Add manually
If your iOS device doesn’t support automatic setup, you can manually add an account as follows:
- Open the iOS settings app.
- Tap ‘Accounts and Passwords’ then ‘Add Account’.
- Enter your email address, password and press ‘Next’.
- Enter the IMAP and SMTP settings as follows:
