Town of Origin The Country House will return to television screens for its next season on Sunday, December 4, at 8 p.m. ET. The Napiers loved Mississippi and had made it a personal goal to preserve it. Erin and Ben Napier are on a mission to revitalize their small town Laurel while also managing their personal lives.
According to HGTV’s press release on the program:
“Ben and Erin say they dreamed of establishing a place where they could slow down and enjoy seeing their two daughters, Helen and Mae, play, inspired by their childhood.”
It continues:
“With the support of their close ‘family’ friends Mallorie, Jim and Josh—Ben and Erin will transform their new home into a traditional English cottage where their children and cousins can create moments they will never forget.”
Home Town The Country House returns for a new season with the Napiers.
Napiers will go to the countryside in season 6 of Home Town The Country House. Both will confess that they wanted a place to slow down and allow their children to grow up “outside” in the backyard, just like they did. In a social media ad, the HGTV couple revealed to the world that they bought a house just outside Laurel to give their children the best education possible. Although Ben didn’t grow up in “the country,” it was always nearby and he often spent weekends with his grandparents, who owned large farms. Meanwhile, Erin grew up in the backyard and spends a lot of time outside. Both wanted their children to enjoy the same experience, which inspired their latest purchase.
The upcoming season of Home Town The Country House will guide viewers through the restoration process. Close friends will support the newlyweds, which means memories will be built even before the house is ready for the big launch. In the trailer, Erin asks her children if they’re ready to be “country girls,” then the pair tell stories about their youth. She went on to say that she grew up digging in the backyard, enamored with fossils and all things mud, and was concerned that her girls would never be allowed to do so.
Ben continued:
“So there’s a place in the country where we can say, ‘Get out, do whatever you want,'” the author explains.
In the ad, Erin also says that when her girls come in at the end of the day, she wants their hair to be tangled and “the bath water has to be muddy.” In an interview with House Beautiful, they discussed “being their own customer” and how frustrating it can be because they know so much about what’s out there.
Erin also stated:
“We already know too much about what is conceivable. I didn’t sleep for about two months before we finished it. I would wake up in the middle of the night, nervous.
She goes on to say that it’s much simpler to remodel someone else’s home than it is to remodel a home for themselves because the Home Town The Country House pair has an opinion on everything. See how the couple renovate their own ranch in the upcoming season of Home Town The Country House on HGTV on December 4, with episodes available to watch after they air on Discovery+.
