British soul singer Heather Margarita Small was formerly the lead vocalist for the group M People.

January 20, 1965, saw the birth of Heather Small. Her mother was a waitress and lived apart from her father in the West London neighborhood of Ladbroke Grove. Her father is a Barbados native and former bus conductor.
