Gossip Girl season 2, the much-awaited sequel to the teen drama series, will premiere on HBO Max on Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 3:00 a.m. ET/midnight PT. The upcoming season promises to have more plans, secrets and scandals for fans. For those unfamiliar, the HBO series Max is a revived and independent sequel to the CW blockbuster TV series Gossip Girl (2007-2012), which depicts the scandalous lives of wealthy kids on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Aside from being located in the same world, the two series have nothing in common.

Season 2 of HBO Max’s Gossip Girl will see Michelle Trachtenberg reprise her role as Georgina Sparks.
Milo was introduced to us in Season 1 of Gossip Girl, who assisted Zoya in exacting revenge on Julien while also providing fans with some backstory since he was the son of Georgina Sparks. Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Georgina in the original Gossip Girl, will reprise her role in the upcoming season. Speaking to Teen Magazine about her return, host and executive producer Josh Safran revealed that Georgina will bring back the mayhem, mayhem, and energy she unleashed in the last season.
He went on to share one of Georgina’s favorite moments from Season 2 of Gossip Girl, saying:
“Where she was introduced was related to the first episode, which was interesting and it related to the characters on the original show, and she just had a brief line on how she dealt with the characters on the first show 15 years ago. It was one of my favorite aspects of the whole season.”
Safran also said that Gossip Girl season 2 will feature fights (which he stated won’t be included in the reboot when the first season was released) and scenes in which individuals are thrown into fountains as things get significantly more frenetic at Constance Billard.
He went on to say that the sequel will include moments that remind fans of the previous one, as well as examine the inner lives of people who didn’t get much attention in season one, while also hinting at the return of Julien’s enemies Pippa and Bianca. Gossip Girl season 2 will premiere exclusively on HBO Max on Thursday, December 1, 2022 and will be produced by Fake Empire and Alloy Entertainment in partnership with Warner Bros.
