Known for his unwavering love for his family, dedication to yoga, and infectious positivity, Jerry’s life journey touched many hearts.

Born in Newark, New Jersey, and raised in Nutley, Jerry was the cherished husband of Danielle and a devoted father to Devon, Ben, and Chris, who were not only his sons but his closest companions. His passing deeply affected not only his immediate family but also his brothers: James and Karen Chandler, Robert and Rita LePore, Patrick and Rose LePore, and his dear twin brother Joe and Rachel LePore, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in Jerry’s heart.

Jerry’s life was a testament to following one’s passions. After graduating from Villanova University in 1987, he embarked on a journey that led him back to Hoboken and Chatham. Driven by his heart, he transitioned from a successful career in the private sector to pursue his love for yoga, establishing and growing Powerflow Yoga into a prominent enterprise with multiple locations. His determination was unwavering, even while battling a rare form of leukemia, dedicating much of his life to supporting others facing similar challenges. Remarkably, Jerry was blessed to live cancer-free for the past five years.

Beyond his dedication to yoga, Jerry was a fervent golfer, a devoted fan of Villanova basketball, and an unwavering supporter of the NY Knicks. However, above all, he was a family man, radiating joy, positivity, and warmth to everyone he encountered.
