Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivor, also known as GRV, (born 8 March 1983) is a Nigerian architect, activist and politician. He is the Labor party (LP) gubernatorial candidate for Lagos State in the upcoming 2023 Lagos state gubernatorial election. He was the senatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) for West Lagos senatorial district in the 2019 Nigerian Senate elections in Lagos State.

Political career

He was one of the first to benefit from the Not Too Young To Run law. In 2017, Rhodes-Vivor ran for president of the Ikeja Local Government Area under the KOWA party. Citing that the absence of patronism in the party has left him scrambling under the podium. He lost to the incumbent APC candidate.

In 2019, he contested the senate seat to represent the west of Lagos under the PDP. However, the court found that was not enough and upheld the opponent’s election.

He is the Labor gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming 2023 Lagos gubernatorial election. He was originally one of the candidates preparing to run under the PDP, but withdrew shortly before the primaries were held. He overcame the Labor party, contested the alternative election in which the party’s main candidate would be chosen, and won, receiving 111 votes, defeating the former leader of the General Assembly. Radical (APC) Moshood Salvador, who received 102 votes. votes.
