G.W. Long School student Tucker Pittman died at 12

A devoted participant in sports, Tucker Pittman’s presence illuminated the halls of G.W. Long School. He will be fondly remembered for his energetic and high-spirited nature, bringing joy to those around him.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving mother, Jennifer Hovey, and father figures, Jody Knight and David Pittman, alongside an extended family that meant the world to him. The profound impact of his life is reflected in the large circle of family members, nieces, nephews, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and more, all of whom deeply mourn his untimely passing.

The funeral services to honor Tucker’s life will take place at Pine Level Baptist Church (1110 Co. Rd. 33, Louisville, AL) on Wednesday, December 20, 2023, commencing at 12 p.m. A visitation will precede the service starting at 10 a.m. until the service begins. Reverend Russell Hagler will officiate the service, with special music provided by Beverly Danford. The interment will follow at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery.

In light of this tragic loss, a GoFundMe campaign has been established by Kymberly Keahey to offer support to Tucker’s grieving family during these trying times. The community’s generosity is reflected in the ongoing effort to reach the fundraiser’s goal of $6,900, with $850 raised at the time of this report.
