Described as a person with a unique and infectious personality, Dylan was known for his humor and fearlessness in expressing himself, endearing him to his circle of friends.
Remembered for his tenacity, curiosity, and quick mastery of various endeavors, Dylan’s passion and wit were gifts that brightened the lives of those around him. As the community comes to terms with this heartbreaking loss, thoughts and prayers are extended to his family during this difficult time.
Kristi Bartel paid tribute to Dylan Herb and wrote,
“Our hearts are broken. My dearest friends son tragically passed away yesterday due to complications of an accident. Dylan just graduated this year from Shiocton. He was a standout in football & wrestling. He was an avid hunter, & loving big brother & son. He made is Mom SO proud. He secured a great job right out of high-school & was making his way into adulthood with maturity & a hard work ethic. Most parents conversations revolve around the children, ours is no exception. Our kids trick-or-treated together & we’ve watched our kids grow up together. I’m so blessed to have Bobbi in my life. Prayer Warriors, please pray for strength as the Steinacker & Herb families cope with the unimaginable. This is every parents worst nightmare. Lives are forever changed.”
Tayler Marie also shared condolces and Facebook,
“I’m not someone who posts their feelings on the internet much anymore but if I said I was okay I would be lying. I am at a lost of words. Dylan Herb, you were the bonus brother I didn’t know I needed. The first person I would tell when I had new truck parts on the way, because no one else got excited about it. The one who would give me shit about missing a turkey but would ALWAYS offer to help me even when I said no. I never understood Madi and Brady’s “sibling bond” until you joined our family, you were that for me. You were too young, you had so much to live for. This is not fair. Life is not fair.
