Dr. Nandipha Magudumana was born as Nandipha Sekeleni on September 15, 1989 in Bizana, Eastern Cape. She was raised by her mother in Port Edward, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. From the age of six, she aspired to become a doctor. Dr. Nandipha attended Port Edward Primary School and completed her secondary education at Port Shepstone High School.
She holds a Bachelor of Health Science (BHSc) degree in Biomedical Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
Career and achievements
Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is the founder of Optimum Medical Aesthetics, a skin care and aesthetic clinic in Sandton that specializes in non-surgical treatments such as Botox, hairline restoration and chemical peels. She is a good medical doctor and surgeon, with many years of experience in her field.
Personal life
Dr. Nandipha Magudumana is married to Mr. Vugo Magudumana and they have two children together: Aziza and Ayana. Besides her professional life, her passions include travel, photography, health and fitness, reading, fashion and spending time with her family.

Dr Nandipha Magudumana’s personal life has recently been the subject of speculation due to her alleged connection to Thabo Bester, a famous Facebook rapist.
In May 2022, Bester was presumed dead while in prison due to a fire at his cell in the Mangaung Correctional Center. However, two months after his presumed death, a Bester likeness was seen with Dr Nandipha at the Woolworths mall in the City of Sandton. In the viral photos, Bester is accompanied by a child resembling Dr. Nandipha’s daughter.
Dr. Nandipha’s brother, Nkosinathi Sekeleni, ousted her for cheating on her husband with Bester. Dr. Nandipha is also accused of laundering money for Bester through her company Ultimate Medical Solutions.
