Don Jazzy, real name Michael Collins Ajereh, was born in Lagos state and raised in family in Ajegunle. Jazzy completed her studies at the Federal Government College in Lagos before taking a business management course at Ambrose Alli University in Edo State.

Don Jazzy worked with D’Banj to produce the albums “No Long Thing” and “Rundown/Funk You Up” for Mo’ Hits Records in 2005 and 2006, respectively.
Jazzy worked on creating “The Entertainer” and Wande Coal in 2008, one of the best Nigerian albums ever. Besides Jay-Z, D’Banj, D’Prince, Sauce Kid, Kween, Dr. SID and Ikechukwu, he also provided vocals for them.
