DJ Duane Stasse, New Jersey Institute of Technology, dies at 48

Barnegat, NJ – Duane Stasse, a respected figure in the community, passed away peacefully at the age of 48 on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at his residence. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, Duane was not only a retired police officer but also the proud owner and operator of Shore Perfect Farms in Barnegat, a venture he held close to his heart. Familiarly known as DJ Duane Stasse, he also graced the airwaves as the host of the Friday Night Fast Lane show on WJRZ radio, leaving an indelible mark on the local media scene.

Duane’s passions extended beyond law enforcement and farming; he found joy in playing and watching soccer and was an avid supporter of the San Francisco 49ers. His multifaceted interests made him a beloved and active member of the community.

He is survived by his cherished wife, Donna Cinque-Stasse; a loving daughter, Brianna; dedicated parents, William and Donna Stasse; sister, Nicole, and her husband, JP Morici; mother-in-law, Donna Ponzi (Dante); father-in-law, Anthony Cinque (Diane Mohr), and a host of close friends and family.
