Deaths of Michael Falvey & Nazaria Phillips as a result of a tragic fatal accident in Lincoln County

In a separate tragic incident, occurring around 3:30 p.m. on Interstate 55 near the 48 mile-marker, a 2011 Ford Explorer driven by 18-year-old Nazaria Phillips, a resident of Yazoo City, veered off the road and collided with a guardrail. The force of the impact caused the vehicle to overturn, and the consequences were dire. Tragically, Nazaria Phillips lost her life at the scene of the crash.
