In high school, De’Anthony Melton was named Mission League Player of the Year and earned All-CIF Southern Section Division I honors after averaging 18.6 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3 ,6 assists per game. He made an immediate impact on Trojan as a rookie during the 2016-17 season. He appeared in all 36 games and averaged 8.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.9 steals. National Basketball Association After being cut short due to the NCAA’s investigation into the USC basketball program, Melton chose to announce his participation in the 2018 NBA draft.
