Conor McGregor was accused of rape by a woman during Game 4 of the NBA Finals. However, McGregor vehemently denies these allegations. It is alleged that security refused to allow the woman’s friend to enter the bathroom or let the woman leave. The letters further describe McGregor emerging from a handicapped booth, forcibly kissing the victim and then forcing her to perform oral sex.
The woman tried to temporarily fend off McGregor by telling him she needed to use the restroom. However, he allegedly proceeded to pin her to the wall and attempt to usurp her. The woman fought back, allowing her a chance to escape, though she left behind her purse, which McGregor’s security guards are said to have kept until she fell in love. return request.
The woman reported the attack to local authorities on Sunday morning after escaping from the scene. Attorney Ariel Mitchell said a police officer encouraged her to seek legal representation.
The request letters, sent after the woman’s meeting with law enforcement, suggest that she is seeking to settle with the NBA, Miami Heat and McGregor rather than pursue litigation.
McGregor’s representatives have released a statement denying the allegations, insisting that they are untrue and that McGregor will not be threatened.
