Christian Ramirez of Odessa, TX dies at the age of 25: Obituary

San Antonio, TX – Christian Isaiah Ramirez, born to Jesse and Kim Ramirez on January 9, 1998, brought immeasurable joy to the world until he departed on Monday, September 4, 2023.

Christian’s spiritual journey began at an early age under the loving guidance of his parents. For the past five years, he resided in San Antonio, TX, where he shared his effervescent personality, laughter, and selfless love with everyone he met. A true creative spirit, Christian possessed a multitude of talents, including singing, playing the trumpet, golf, woodworking, and design. His infectious laughter and radiant smile made him the life of every gathering, spreading happiness to all who crossed his path.

Christian’s educational journey took him through Reagan Elementary School, Bowie Middle School, and culminated in his graduation from Odessa High School in 2016. During his time at Odessa High, he made a significant impact, participating in the school’s band, mariachi program, OHS Golf Team, National Honor Society, and Student Council. As Senior Class President, he had the honor of delivering a graduation speech. Following high school, he attended UTPB in Odessa, TX, before making San Antonio his home.

Christian is survived by his loving parents, Jesse and Kim Ramirez, his cherished sister Sophie Ramirez, maternal grandparents Ruben and Olga Matta, paternal grandmother Jesse Sanchez, and step-grandfather Jose Luis Sanchez. He is also survived by his great grandfather Carlos M. Carrasco. Christian leaves behind numerous caring uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family members, and friends who will forever miss his presence. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Manuel Ramirez, great grandmother Merita Carrasco (Nana), and great grandparents Valvina and Alberto Matta.

Christian touched the lives of all who knew him, leaving behind treasured memories. His legacy of joy and talent will forever be etched in our hearts. To Christian Isaiah Ramirez, we say, “We will always love you.”
