Chris Omar Johnson is a Jamaican-born boxer who represented Canada in the middleweight division in the 1992 Summer Olympics. At the Commonwealth Games in 1990, he won the middleweight gold medal. He was inducted into Boxing Canada’s Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2019.

He began commemorating his 34th birthday in 2019. He went to Olympia High School and then East Carolina University for college. He was a football player at Orlando Olympic High School.
Chris Johnson is named after a former running back in American football. The Tennessee Titans chose him in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft after he ran a then-record breaking 4.24 seconds in the NFL Combine 40-yard dash. He won the NFL running championship with 2,006 yards in 2009, becoming the sixth of just seven players in NFL history to do so, and broke Marshall Faulk’s overall scrimmage yardage record with 2,509, earning him the moniker CJ2 K.
