A tragic incident has claimed the life of off-duty Chicago police officer John Connor, identified as 35-year-old Edwin Espinoza, following a single-car accident on Sunday morning in Oak Lawn. The heartbreaking accident occurred on 95th Street, where Connor’s vehicle skidded off the road and collided with a tree. Oak Lawn police responded to the scene around 7:50 a.m., rushing Connor to Christ Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
