The exact cause of the fight remains unknown at the time of writing this article. St. Bernard Parish Schools Superintendent Doris Voitier confirmed that tasers were used on two students involved in the fight, as part of safety protocols. She emphasized that the decision to deploy tasers was based on the school resource officer’s assessment of the situation.
