Elliott was born in Riverside, California and raised in Bountiful, Utah. He began his acting career in local theater productions, and went on to study acting at Brigham Young University. After graduating from BYU, Elliott moved to New York City to pursue his acting career. He made his Broadway debut in the musical Aida in 2005.
Since then, Elliott has appeared in numerous television shows and movies, including Joseph Smith: The American Prophet (2017), Tim Timmerman: Hope of America (2017) and Destined at Christmas (2022). He is also a member of the vocal group GENTRI which he co-founded in 2014. GENTRI has released three albums and their music has been featured on many TV shows and movies.
In addition to her acting and singing career, Elliott is also a businessman. He is the co-founder of Kadince, which provides marketing and business development services to businesses in the technology industry.
Elliott is married and has four children. He lives in Layton, Utah.
