Lexington County, South Carolina – A devastating accident occurred on Friday morning, claiming the life of 32-year-old Carrie Sabrina Isenhower. Ms. Isenhower was fatally struck by a vehicle while walking on Jim Spence Road in the Lexington area of Lexington County.
The incident took place at approximately 7:55 a.m. in the 1800 block of Jim Spence Road. According to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher, Ms. Isenhower was walking westbound on Jim Spence Road when she was struck by a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction. Tragically, the injuries she sustained in the collision were fatal, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.

“Friday, October 13, 2023Jim Spence Road Pedestrian FatalityLexington County Coroner, Margaret Fisher, has identified the person who died in a vehicle vs. pedestrian accident in the 1800 block of Jim Spence Road in the Lexington area of Lexington County at approximately 07:55 A.M. on October 13, 2023.According to Coroner Fisher, Ms. Carrie Sabrina Isenhower, 32, of Lexington was walking westbound on Jim Spence Road when she was struck by a vehicle traveling eastbound. Ms. Isenhower was pronounced dead on scene due to the injuries sustained in the collision. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and was not injured.The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department and the South Carolina Highway Patrol continue to investigate the incident.Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Ms. Isenhower.”
