Singapore – In a somber incident at Block 104 Bukit Batok Central on Monday morning (September 25), a 29-year-old domestic worker was discovered lifeless outside the kitchen window of a third-floor residence. It is seems to be a suicide case.

The distressing episode was reported around 6:20 am, prompting a swift response from the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), as depicted in a circulating social media video.

SCDF personnel, utilizing safety ropes, worked diligently to secure and lower the individual to the second floor for further assessment.

Tragically, the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene by an SCDF paramedic.

Local news outlet, Mothership, received confirmation from the police regarding the identity of the deceased, verifying her as a 29-year-old woman. The case has been classified as an unnatural death, although initial investigations suggest no foul play.

A concerning detail has emerged, as another domestic worker claimed that the deceased had been denied leave, with personal belongings, including her phone, allegedly withheld by her employer, hindering her ability to contact her family.
