Richmond Hill, Queens – A woman, Clarisa Burgos, was tragically killed, and a man severely injured in a shocking shooting incident that unfolded in Queens, Richmond Hill. Surveillance footage captured the grim scene where three assailants, concealed in hoods, fired multiple shots into a parked car near 127th Street and Liberty Avenue.
Clarisa Burgos, 28, lost her life after being shot in the head, while the 39-year-old man driving the car sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite his injuries, the driver managed to flee the scene, driving approximately two miles to the 103rd police precinct in Jamaica to seek help. He was rushed to the hospital and is expected to survive.
The community expressed shock and sadness at the brutal attack, with a recent resident in the area expressing dismay at the violence. Authorities recovered 16 shell casings from the crime scene and are investigating the motive behind the attack. So far, no arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing.
