Mitchell, Indiana – In a harrowing incident, a 33-year-old woman, Brittany Medina, has been arrested on two counts of murder after two young children, aged 1 and 3, were found dead inside a residence in Mitchell, Lawrence County.
The Mitchell Police Department alerted the Indiana State Police about the tragic discovery around 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The children were discovered lifeless at a home in the 1200 block of Brook Street, an area near a dollar store in Mitchell.
