Orwigsburg, PA – The Blue Mountain High School community is in mourning following the tragic passing of one of its bright stars, Brady Koch. The young student’s untimely demise occurred on the night of Friday, October 27, 2023, near Deer Lake, leaving family, friends, and the entire school community in shock and disbelief.
Details of the incident reveal that Brady was injured on Municipal Road around 9:00 pm and was swiftly taken to Geisinger St. Luke’s Hospital. Despite the best efforts, he was pronounced dead. The circumstances surrounding the incident were ruled as accidental, and an ongoing investigation is being conducted by The Pennsylvania State Police at Schuylkill Haven.
Brady Koch was not just a student; he was a brilliant mind with an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
